Mary-Anne got ready for her big day surrounded by loved ones and beautiful blooms at her family home. The home set the scene for the day providing a sneak peek into the floral styling to be found at the wedding ceremony and reception. The handrails leading up to the front door were beautifully decorated with garlands of baby’s breath which led into the internal staircase extravagantly adorned with blooms to match under a crystal chandelier. Arrangements in the bride’s room and a sweet love heart crafted from masses of baby’s breath completed the beautiful scene.
Mary-Anne’s gown was nothing short of showstopping. Created by the always impressive team at J’Aton Couture, Mary-Anne shone in a sculpted strapless number which sparkled at every turn. She carried a simple bouquet of cascading white phalaenopsis orchid blooms on a base of baby’s breath which perfectly complemented her gorgeous gown. Her bridesmaids, dressed in the softest of lilac hues, carried posies of baby’s breath studded with phalaenopsis orchid blooms, whilst the junior bridesmaids held simple posies of baby’s breath. The sweet flower girls wore flower crowns of baby’s breath, and all the boys wore buttonholes of the same, except for the groom whose buttonhole featured an orchid bloom to match his bride.
Mary-Anne and Gerard were married at their family church, and the bride and her father walked down the aisle which featured thick garlands of baby’s breath slung over the ends of the pews. Her groom waited for her at the altar in front of extra-large silver urns overflowing with masses of baby’s breath with white doves perched on the florets.
The newlyweds held their reception at exclusive Melbourne bayside venue Stokehouse where the tables featured a glass bowl brimming with massed baby’s breath finished with cascading stems of white phalaenopsis orchid blooms. The use of fluffy baby’s breath continued through to the wishing well, signage and the cake.
Congratulations, Mary-Anne and Gerard, and thank you for having us work alongside your team of A-list suppliers to bring your wedding vision to life.
