Lucy and Toni’s winter wedding at Matilda 159 was exactly as they envisioned – cosy, warm and intimate. They didn’t require a lot of florals for their big day, but what they selected brought the space to life and set the scene for the night ahead.

Lucy and Toni got ready separately at Crown and met with their family and close friends in tow for their ‘first look’. Lucy wearing a sparkling and simple Mariana Hardwick gown, and Luci a show-stopping red Carla Zampatti suit, stood beside their mothers as they opened their eyes to see each other for the first time. It was a moment full of emotion.

Together the loved-up pair entered the cosy restaurant where they held both the ceremony and reception. They walked down the aisle hand in hand to their awaiting family and friends. The décor was kept minimal, with the Victoria Whitelaw team creating two stunning floral towers as a ceremony backdrop. Lucy and Toni had provided an image as inspiration, hand-selected a few floral varieties in store, and left the rest up to our creative team.

Lucy and Toni said, “Victoria Whitelaw were able to create the image we had in our heads to add to the intimacy and romance we wanted for the ceremony. We picked some flowers we liked in the shop and left it in their hands. We loved them! They were absolutely stunning and perfect! We were just so impressed!”

Thank you once again, Lucy and Toni, for having us a part of your special day. You were an absolute pleasure to work with and we wish you all the best for your future together.
